  1. The Lily (LIsp LibrarY) C++ class library gives C++ programmers the
  2. capability to write LISP-style code.

  4. Lily is probably useful in academia for instructors who want to teach
  5. artificial intelligence techniques with C++.  The garbage collection
  6. mechanism employed by Lily is slow which may make it unattractive for
  7. commercial use.
